I gotta go with around 800 hp max. I have a very similar setup and I made 765 hp at 5500 with 8lbs boost. You will not be able to run that much boost due to your higher base compression ratio. I am at 8-1 comp. I did make one pull to 6000 rpm and it made 825 hp, but I would never run it that way so we backed down the limiter. My intake is all stock. I modified the stock fuel rail and have 1200 cfm Whipple throttle bodies.

You're in good hands at Pfaff's I can't tell from your pics if you are feeding the blower crankcase with engine oil. As fast as that blower is spinning you should consider doing that as the crankcase oil will get extremely hot at those speeds and could cause a failure in the boat. After Gordy is done tuning, you might ask him to hold the engine at 5500 rpm for 10 seconds or so to make sure the temps don't "run away". Sounds rough, but that or more extreme conditions will happen in the boat. Good job on your combo, sounds like it's coming together nicely.

He likes to do it in steps and take his time. After finding the max HP/torque without creating issues or undue stress. We will discuss the boat tune and get ready for the next step.

The only way to do it!

The engine also made 730hp/766 lbs torque with only 4.5-5.4 PSI of boost.

LJ engines will be coming out with a kit and project price very soon. If anyone has any questions about this project or any other engine combo, email him at [email protected]

This guy is awesome and has a lot of knowledge. He works with your budget and does not do anyhting half a$$. More info to follow.....
Great Numbers!

Here are some dyno photos..... As you can see from the photos he didn't even use headers and ran the powerflow exhuast like I have in the boat.
