The stock manifold will support over 1000 hp !! Just ask Articfriends. I have made over 825 with mine on stock injectors on a 502 with a modified rail and a strong pump. I am on my 3rd season and still runs like new. I do have Whipple's 1000 cfm throttle bodies though.

Where did you mount your MEFI? Did you just attach it to the transom? I don't see it in its usual spot next to the plenum.

Mounted on the back side of the plenum. We tried many spots and that place worked the best.

To clarify,a "stock" mpi intake and throttle body that are MODIFIED can make over 1000 hp (I made 1115 hp but it was with a procharger blowing thru a modified 2000 502 mpi intake manifold and throttle body),Smitty

What's is the highest air intake temp level you have seen? Anything over 140?
Air intake temps were barely over 100 degrees BUT that was on the dyno, haven't monitered it "as installed" in the boat yet,Smitty
