Raylar equipped 496's with Dana Exhausts or CMI's and our 525HP kits do not suffer any reversion. If there is some other problem with the exhaust system configuration on almost any performance boat you can sometimes suffer from reversion that's not camshaft or engine related but exhaust routing or plumbing related.
Just to set the record straight!

Question

As for Raylar kits adding 10 or 11 mph on twin engine boat installations, I know there are many twin installs around that have seen those increases, not to hard when you add 200 hp or more in a decent twin engine perfromance boat. There are even a few single engine boats that have seen some increase numbers like that with Raylar upgrades.

I would love to report about how great the Raylar kit it is. We have run the motors once where the boat ran 11 mph over the week before top speed before the change. This is with the old props. Properly propped we should see even more.

We did encounter some problems due to the computer reprogramming not being right for a 07 engine. Computers were sent back to Wipple Raylar’s vendor for additional programming.

At this point the computers have been back to Wipple for almost 2 weeks. We have been told for over a week they are going out today. As of today we cannot get Wipple to return the call with a status.

If worse comes to worse does anyone have a set of 2007 496 Ho computers? I want to go boating
what kind of problem where you having with the computers,,,,how much for each remap???

I don't believe anyone is having problems with the standard 496HO program and Raylar BCK103 kits. There is no reprogramming required on a 496HO when adding a Raylar BCK103 kit, only when someone is putting BCK103 kits on 375HP 496 MAG engines. Then we have to reporgram the ECM's up to a HO spec.
