Read the locked thread in GD from earlier today. It was originally posted in the Concept forum. It got ugly. She called me out then tried to delete it but we got it in time and locked it up.

Long story short, someone asked about the value of a 32 Concept. I told them it depreciated badly. I never said anything about quality or the company or dealers, etc. Ms. Concepts head spun around and then she took it another level. Cash Bar told her she should just leave this one alone and she decided not to.

Then she attacks Dreamer and then ALL OSO members who "don't have a life" because we post regularly.

In a nutshell.................

If she has all that....... I know most of us would feel better once we saw what we were dealing with:evilb::D

I'm not looking for a ceter console....but if I did...I know what is not going to be on the list....How can a rep for a company like that act like a child...really kind of funny....I told everyone in the office about it....it was a good laugh....

want to know the irony of this whole thing. my boss who's a boat nut and has bought and sold probably 10-12 in the last 10 years was interested in this boat when i told him about it 3 days ago. i had him read these 2 threads and guess what...HE'S NO LONGER INTERESTED !!

Well, there is a small hand full of people on here that you do not want to be on their radar. If you do not believe me then call up power play and ask them how business is going, or call fred at trick. Not a good idea to chit where you eat. Do I see a blip on my screen Bill? :cool-smiley-011:

Wow, if her boss sees this I think she may be out of a job, or at least she should be. Look at all the sales and potential sales she has cost them over acting like a child.

Regardless of the quality or value (or lack thereof) of their boat, no one wants to buy a boat from a company that has representatives act this way.

I was at the Lauderdale show and was interested in the product until I saw the quality of there boat that they allowed to be in a MAJOR boat show. The upholstery on the sport model was stitched by Mr Maggoo on a good drunk. I really liked Bills 32' and wanted to check them out and was highly disappointed

I also am not impressed with Ms Concept and how she "threatened" Bill and others about if they are wearing a cup. I read and re-read the thread to see if I missed something but it appears to me that she just took offence to Bills true statement that her boats depreciate.

She sure did pick the wrong person to f&ck with

It did seem to me that there was an insinuation (in the other thread) that you can't sell the boat because it is a Concept. Therefore, I think Ms. Concept was was justified in defending her company. I can't believe the ranting going on about basically nothing. It's been my experience buying things (autos, boats...) that when you purchase things new and and go to sell them you LOSE your asss. To hope for anything better (especially under the current economic circumstances) is just wishful thinking.:party-smiley-004:

I just made it clear that the concept that I bought and sold lost more (%) than other boats I've dealt with. With that being said I've bought and sold over 1000 boats and been on the NADA board for used boat sales since '99. I never knocked the co or the product, just stated the facts of the depreciation. Do you have info I don't have?

i say f mrs concept, who this is really hurting is the paying members who own a concept, you guys know.....THE PEOPLE THAT PAY MEMBERSHIP... i have a few friends that own a concept and use the forum as i use the cig forum.... hurt mrs concept, dont hurt your paying members.....

Agree, but the 32 Concept DollaBill was selling was not a used boat. It was a new MSO boat...that is the whole point about all this...the resale, sell through, profit margin and so forth is horrible. That is the point Bill is trying to make.

Oh yeah I have a life but get bored on the road in hotels!

You apparently only owned your Concept for a short time. Let me tell you that Rep stands behind the product like no other boat company I've ever worked with and I've purchased 4 new boats in the last 16months. After the sale she is still there for you. I am coming out of a 38ZR (nice boat also) but, when it comes to customer service Concept has it going on. Susan is one of the best and most caring person you will ever meet. You owe her an apology. By the way...they don't sell boats factory direct.
