32 Concept for 85K thread

Seems that the Concept rep thinks that all of us who post here often don't have a life. What do you think? It's locked in this section now. They tried to delete the thread but too late.

I told you when you got that boat that is was an $85k boat.

You had 120k in that boat and thought it was dealer cost which it might have been.

Concept was offering blow out Miami Boat Show pricing factory direct of 102-105 for the same boat in the local boat trader mag.

Therefore, all 32 concepts now become 85k boats when the facotry does that.

You know how the Miami factory back door boat sale shuffle game works.

Now she's making fun of Dreamer calling him boatless!!!!!!!!!

way to make friends and sell your product. Is this how you're treated when you buy a concept?

Dealers or representatives of any brand heed the warning that they have nothing to gain by getting into it with members, but everything to lose.

I tried man. I really tried. Even Cash told her to let this one go. And, yes, cafe would be nice.

I mean, what kind of representative of a mfg goes right for the throat at Dreamer like that. he could buy 2 of any boat they make. And, nice that she can't even pay for a membership "registered basic". nice.

Ya, Bill that boat was never worth $120K, and after the factory was blowing them out for around $100k that would make them worth $85k the next day.

But what that woman fails to realize is that yours was a NEW boat, not like a car you buy and drive off the lot and is worth 20% less the next day. It is like one dealer getting a car from another dealer and driving it for a day, it is still a NEW car. Her analogy does not work.

The one thats worth 85 now? We'll get him here later. The calvalry is comin.............

I mean don't get me wrong, I thought it was a nice boat, but it was a nice $85-$100k boat, nothing more.

Two thoughts:

1. Bill's & Shogren's former Concept is now owned by some friends we know on the WC of Florida. It's doing well as far as I know.

2. How much damage can stripper glitter do to a 42' Fountain?

It's her attitude that makes this whole thing bad. I never once said the boat was bad. Just stated facts about pricing.

I told I was done and leave it alone. She didn't choose that direction. Now she makes fun of boaters and members. Nice. I think she is VP Sales??

lol. yes, Brian. Nice boat owned by nice people. Glitter can be cleaned. I just don't want to mix apples and oranges with the Fountain. Thats been private and that's what I tried to tell her at least 3 times. It was a problem worked out between me and Shogren and the 2 have nothing to do with each other. End of that story

That is two threads now, that she has been part off arguing with customers on oso in a very short time. I can't believe that concept would let her represent them like that, totaly turns me off from a company..

I wasn't having hassles. I was actually backing up the fact that the boat depreciated and at 85K it was a buy. But then Ms. Concept flew in on her broom (probly an overpriced one at that) and started this bs. Great way to run a company

I missed something, but I would like to say, mon-thur I really don't have a life other than OSO and Boats. I kind of like it that way.

So let me get my facts straight:

1) You lost your azz on a boat sale

2)You were talking chit to a concept saleswomen

3)The concept saleswoman was rightfully defending her company and herself

4) Your sole purpose of all of this is to let everyone know that the resale on concepts suck.

Did I miss anything? If you lost your azz on a sale then thats your own damn fault not concepts. You should have done your own due diligence. Now quite crying about it and go do some boating.
