I doubt more than 2-3 people realistically would have wanted to run in that water. So for the other 300,450,000 people, it doesn't matter

That's pretty rough water in the vid. Maybe not the worst, but pretty darn bad. Perhaps we need to break this down by feet and average speed. Say, what boat can go over 65 mph in 20 to 30 footers? It would make for an exciting video, but little else.

Perhaps broken bones or concussions would be a better guide?

Aronow & Kramer used to love to race that type of water.........6' to 8' .........and yes there were broken bones & concussions. Offshore racing......dangerous....and it was exciting!
