Cable with a wireless Router that makes a great firewall. I can go anywhere in the house and use my laptop.

I travel for work so I'm stuck with dial up.

My office system, where I'm at now, is a DSL and running at 3517.2 kbps.

Sure beats my 56k phone line at home.

Is wireless service available for laptops, and where do I obtain it? Are there any drawbacks? A while back I read that in order to download websites they needed to be WAP enabled. Is that still true, or has the technology advanced beyond that?

I am on wireless, but only to the house, not in the house. A small card has to be added to the computer for microwave wireless, and also for a wireless router.
