Now why did U.S.A start to relu of foreign oil so much despite the hike in prices ? I mean you got some of your own to control the prices ? The only reason the pres. opened up the strategic reserve when prices wre high is because him and his buddies own stock. |

We have quit pumping our own since we can buy it cheap again. I know of 200 land based rigs that have been stacked and 50 that have been liquidated where they sat to avoid costs of moving them. That is just between 2 pretty small drilling companies. We will keep ours in the bank, just like we allways have.
The only reason the pres. opened up the strategic reserve when prices wre high is because him and his buddies own stock. I just donīt get it. Whereīs the patriotism in that ? Seems your legislators are hopeless... |

Huh ?? Nazis you mean like our leftist brown shirts here.
no I mean the real ones. Germany in the 30īs who had lots of inventions to make themselves independent of oil. That was surely and alarming threat to the oil producers then... which happened to be U.S.A and Russia at the time. But fast forward to today... by regulating the oil to a certain affordable level the boatindustry can also prosper. India also tried to become independent of oil especially diesel in the 50īs but oil was so cheap at the time the need just washed away. Nowadays because of the pollution in India itīs making a comeback. http://thehindubusinessline.com/busi...s/041167mu.htm http://cpcbenvis.nic.in/newsletter/a...el/ch30403.htm So lets go totally oil independent in our powerboats and cars inb the future... Do that and the market will be there. |
