Low hours are subjective. 40 a year is an average #s I've heard mentioned. In a fairly new boat less than 200 would be low. This does not mean above 200 is too high on standard power. Custom power or above 425hp 200hrs can mean valve work, rebuild etc. 500 to 1000 hours is possible on a well maintained 400-450hp big block. That would be much more the exception on 500+ hp engines where at 200 you have to start looking at rebuilding. Hydraulic steering is excellent advise above 65mph also for handling and safety.
Low hours and bravo drive would be just as important as appearance in my opinion.
I am no expert on the higher hours and how long they might last. There are exceptions to every thing I've said but hopefully this will help.
Keep us posted what direction your heading....

^^^^Thanks for the advice Pantera, I appreciate the info all very helpful in this new venture. I just keep getting more pumped about the whole thing, I've been reading about poker runs and those look like a real blast. But i have been leaning towards the Velocity boats I just really like the way they look and I haven't read anything bad about them. There was a guy that posted on this thread that had one for sale but i'm still waiting on pics and info. I will def keep you guys posted on what i'm looking at.
