Default Thinking of buying 33'-40'...

Im looking at new boats in the 33'-40' size range. What do others recommend? Would like to stay below 500 K and use merc motors. Probably v, but have not ruled out cat. Do most boating at LOTO and alittle at Lake Travis, Tx. Thanks for the input.

Don't you already have a boat?

So I complied and come to find out the bank underwriters say I don't net enough income. Even though I already have the boat along with purchase agreement and titles!.... The dealer has been great to work with all along, but not sure how this is going to go....

Being that you have a 500k budget, and looking at 33-40' boats, V or Cat, I'd say you have many, many options.

What will you be doing with the boat, just running around for an afternoon, or overnighting on it, etc. Are you a speed junkie? As in does 120+ mph turn you on? Or are you looking for something more family oriented that rides and handles well. Hard to narrow it down with out knowing your intentions with the boat.

Not sure if it's still for sale but Jassman was selling his 43' Nortech V. Better than a new boat and would be awesome at LOTO also below your budget. But since you said up to 40' I would say a 39' Nortech V would be awesome as well. Nice cabin, handles rough water very well. Good luck, with your budget you can have just about anything you want!

We have several options available to you.

How fast do want to go?
How fast do you want to spend gas money?
Do you want a fully decked out cabin?
