Adib's boat will run 80 pretty much anytime you want. he has seen 84 and change before, but that was with perfect conditions and light on fuel.
Adib is one of the brothers that owns Mastry engine center in St. petersburg.

As one person noted.....significant damage would have also happened had it been shaft, V, or sterndrive. Dont hit rocks is the lesson here. If you do, get ready for trouble no matter how your boat is set up.

Cat, Im not calling it good..its just another avenue to go..plus and minus on every system..I like how the boats can walk sideways and dock easier..downside..drives could pop off..the new version when hit hard shears off and lets supposedely no water intrusion..Im with you..give me Arnesons..and if need be..get a bow thruster to help somewhat in docking..

My #6 semi stag boat docks for crap..Ive got it mastered now..but you really need to know what your doing with the sticks as well as throttle the reverse motor to get her to spin..
