Thats an Akula-Class (Nerpa) nuclear submarine. If you look closely at the center of what appears to be the sub, you see 2 masts. Those masts sit on top of the sail (tower). So in the case of this, you wouldnt see the sail (conning tower) or the tail fin, because its completely submerged...

Yet you can still see the bow of the vessel because its sitting at an up angle, which obviously puts the stern deep in the water.
