Come on down to lake shelbyville if you catch a windy day it is not that flat. Its only 2.5 hours.
Right now I'm in Sullivan and it is raining I could check and see if there is some wind for the weekend. You would probably get some good numbers with the cooler temperatures and probably be the only one on the lake (it is bow season so all the fisherman are hunting). Forecast for tomorrow (Saturday) is 60 sunny with 5 to 10 mph winds out of the south which would give you a couple good spots to run with the wind at your back. Come on down I'll meet you at aunt b's for breakfast. I hear ya BIG Daddy ,its been raining here since last sunday and windy as phuch. give me a zip code 4 sullivan so i can check mondays forecast 60s dont bother us bro i'm leary of all the tree stumps in your lake and by eagle creek i've ran past tops of trees stickin out of the water .. I've been there a dozen xs and have never seen any chop other then a houseboat wake.are the marinas still open to launch ??? |

My vote is for the St.johns. I live a mile away from it just south of Jacksonville in Orange Park. I would love to watch that beast run. It's still in the high 80's to low 90's here.
nice :drink: St Johns sounds awesome Bro and im sure if i went down there i would'nt be returning to the Windy City :coolcowboy: |
Sullivan is 61951 you wont have to worry about stumps after this rain maybe just floating logs probably be gone by monday. That place your talking about is in Tuscola. If you need help navigating around the stumps I can definatly help. Monday there would not be a person in sight on that lake.

We looking at 1 to 3 footers right now. Bring it down (with crew), dial it in, and take in some rays and rum. Maybe a few lobsters. You might just stay a while.:evilb:

How bout Monroe Lake outside Bloomington, IN? I know the Stancombes test their Skater there, as needed. Google Maps, says its 4.5 Hrs South of ya. I would meet you there, shoot some pixs & video of your testing, as I'm planning on being up there Monday, anyways. :)
Have a good weekend. James |
