Brian,
Muskegon Lake Might work it gets some nice chop and if the Big lake lays down a bit you could shoot out to the big water in just minutes

This would be less than 3 hours from you I am happy to come out and crew chief for the testing

Still up in the Air BIG Daddy , 46 degrees in Shelbyville monday & spoke to the Lithium springs marina and they verified lots of wood/crap in the water from all the storms  hoping we catch a break and can get out on Lake Michigan tomorrow or might have to send her down South and spend a few days between trying spacers, diff props, blower pulleys, props spinning in & spinning out now that the motors are runnin strong :drink::drink::drink:

There will be a lot of crap in the water at lithia springs they are right by the dam. about as downstream as it gets. the best place to check is findlay marina. If you come down my dad has a small shop in Sullivan and he builds engines so if there is something you need let me know.

JBS Crew 10-10-2009 10:54 PM

Lake Winnebago is one of the finest lakes for testing in the midwest. JBS Racing uses it for testing our boats. I live on on the lake in the Oshkosh area and have many contacts at marinas and hotels that would make your visit real comfortable. Weather is cool, but the conditions on the lake are perfect, no traffic, no speed limit, normally early calm conditions and afternoon waves get larger.
