I have not been following this thread other than the last few pages and saw my name coming up about some dyno challenge. I read back a few pages and no I am not making 1600 hp. Sorry there is a local boater who is claiming he makes 1900 per side on some 1150 Sterling engines and I might have in jest commented I was 1600 to a few people at the local watering hole to mess with this guy. Sorry for any confusion. I am closer to 1400 with 93 octane and methanol injection. The engine is 1200 on 93 octane only. The meth allows more timing advance and more boost giving a race gas type setup. Works very well. But like Gatarone said it will run the meth tank dry if you stay in the boost for long periods and then you have a big problem. Boom...
Harley572 has a really fast Nortech running about 140 mph with some naturally aspirated Ateco's. WOW!! That is a very impressive setup.

While we are at it pagliahspizza is Jim Darr he had a nortech now has a Skater and is infamous. I actually thought yellow gambler had a 9 foot boat.

Brad, that sounds about right, my motors are right there with yours on pump and race, can't imagine much over 1200-1300hp on pump gas with reliability.

I got 144 hrs out of mine withe no issues
