I agree with you there, too many classes. About the delamination, Glassdave, you want to take a crack at that?

I don't think I would have made a trip today to Bimini and back without the old school techniques at least as a back up plan should the electronics go out.
Even to this day people always ask me if I have GPS in my truck and I say no, it would take the fun out of my road trips !

Chart and plot and away I go !

boatme...funny i am in spring lake now at my aunts...where i grew up as a kid and would wash the decks for some pizza for the racers back in the days of betty cook. i really looked up to them. it's also where i sailed everyday and raced a blow boat here and there. don't think many here have race the in key west in both a powerboat and a sail boat let alone in the same year?
i am not in here trying to be a hero! i am accomplishing exactly what i set out to do. the people that are REALLY helping JBS right now....there is no doubt they will do more business from it. the ones that have taken advantage of JBS; many are seeing their ways and learning from our mistakes.

I think it's silly and stupid to nitpick Joe S. because you don't like the way offshore racing is run these days. Boat racing has always been a rich man's sport all the way back to the days of Gar Wood. Guys who did it mostly for fun and bragging rights. The problem is, today, we don't have enough rich men in the sport. Who, out there among the complainers, is willing to organize a race way offshore with a big enough purse and sponsers to pay a working class guy to race a 40 Skater? I commend Joe and Jeff for their efforts and hope to see them running soon.
