We had a few issues at first and were very pro-active to resolve them. OL and the customer were patient and understanding during that time. The customer is in good relations with ILMOR and has given us great feedback. The boat runs 115 mph with 650's.
NO ONE in the industry has supported the introduction of new marine products like ILMOR...just had a talk with Joe at Hustler last weekend at the race on Long Island about this topic...

The other folks could learn a lesson or two...

This is a great project that we all wish we could have done...

Nice job Michael...

I hate to dumb this discussion down but what this thread needs is more pictures

A question: Boat for boat, are the 725 packages seeing much of a noticable gain over the 710 engines?

MM-

This really hurts my feelings after I way exceeded posting of pics by including a link to an actual video. I can't do anything right!

To be honest there hasn't been anything new to post. Tell me what you want & I will request. Your wish is my command. I guess a pic of the boat floating in the water might be nice. I will do my best to redeem myself!

Lastly, great question!!! Unfortunately I don't know the factual answer to this nor do I know anyone thats owned a boat w/ both packages. Here's what I think I know...

The 710 is rated at 700hp, the 725 at 725hp at the transmission (dynoed w/ the trans attached) which supports the theory that the 725 may in fact make a few more ponies than 725 when measured just like the 710. I also believe their torque curves differ but can't support w/ facts although I want to believe there are dyno sheets posted on their website, just not sure if they list both generations or just the current Gen4.

Hey I wasn't throwing any rocks in your direction - and yes you have posted lots of pics. Just saying the best way to break up a HP discussion gone awry is to post some pics for us to fanatics to gwak at.

You can never have too many pics

Found the specs but I know you want to know from someone who's owned both or back to backed them.

No worries, no offense taken just ribbing you!

Hope these will suffice until I can come up w/ something else.

Me & the pastey spinner chic at Jammin on James 2009

Borrowed the Statement models after their photoshoot at JAX 2009.

Damn 2009 was a good year for me!
