it's both a chemical and mechanical bond.

the boat is now back at skater with the prop cut out no doubt. surprisingly in great shape considering.

i have some work to do with the engines in the boat. then take them out and do the appropriate inspections.

the tubes gotta come off.

the starboard side of the hull will then be cut off/out as the port was. then there is a ton of work to make them both to JBS Racing spec's. While the engines are out; we will be working on both sides internal structures on top of what is touching the water.

tomorrow we will finally have the boat level so the exhausts can come out of it and i can do the hot end inspections...even after the very short run we did in st.clair!... just like arruda was charging jeff for! lol

we are cutting it close for MI city....but we shall see
It will be interesting to see the results of those changes, especially to the hull of a boat designed to run 200mph and has done so.

As to the "hot end inspections", are you saying that Turbine Marine charged JBS Racing for work it did not do?

yes i am 110%...the very sad part is; if that is all...JBS would be much further ahead...or not so in the negative at least!

i returned home today to find a PB Mag...and wispering talking about "learning curve"...there is a HUGE FACT CURVE!!! while there is a learning curve to flying a chopper there is only facts on how they function! as a pilot you must know both as safety is first. why should running a 200mph prototype boat be any different?

who designed this????....knowing why something is done for a reason vs. leaving it there because you copied someone else's design is completely different!!!

Are you accusing John Cosker of splashing someone else's bottom design?

I do believe the design is a splash off of a 50 Ft Tencara Cat after they ripped the nose off of there Tencara in Key West a few years back,it was then powered by Torque Marine V10 or V12s I do believe. As far as I know the Tencara was a Michael Peters design.

Well the Skater sure looks Like a Cougar....It's a Boat Bottom, they are almost all angled the same & almost all have lifting strakes of some kind. Thats why they look similar.
