It appeared at the Shootout that the trailer consisted of the main frame, and then a hydraulic slider that the bunks were actually fastened to. They never did launch the boat, but i would imagine that the wheels that you see supports the slider and the boat during launch. I would guess that the front of the sliding portion slides approximately 3/4's of the way back on the main frame. Pretty spendy setup, but I would bet that it makes lauching much easier at all different types of ramps.

guys can barely keep twin turbo applications running in sync, it would be really tough to make this system work that way. How many years have people been trying to do this, I know Eickert has for along time and Nor Tech gave it a shot too, with Ron Potter.....

Call Brad at Smith Power or Tommy at Chief Engines. They seem to be getting along great with their turbo engine packages. Engine management has grown exponentially in the last 8 years.

I remember James Mullen's 50' Nor-Tech cat 'Warbird' when he was testing four inline Potter 850s. It didn't work well so he switched to turbines(at least that's what I think happened, you probly know the story better than I).
