Yes I look at the 300k and under that I want to spend and get torn from a boat like one of the 3-4 in this thread or think why not get a 100k ish Formula 400ss and a 100k ish Apache 41 and put a little money in each and have fun. I live on the water so I can just pick what boat when I get to the end of the dock. What to you guys think also I do 90% own work so dont have to worry about that cost much.

What kind of power are you looking at in each boat? Smaller stock power? Big blower motors? Moderate blower motors? Only Merc power?

The Nortech is a beautiful boat, just look at Jassman's. However, if you want pure sex, the Cig is the choice.

Sheer curiosity, but why did you get rid of the 50' Nortech? I remember when yours was for sale....

50 is a lot of boat/work for sure. Think how much work it is to go out for the day in a 30-38, then think 12-20 more feet of boat! Launching at ramp, dockage at a hotspot on a busy holiday weekend.....the extra footage can be a hassle!

Tripp big power is too much work and the 50 was a little to big for the river.

If I got 2 boats the 400ss would be powered with 500's 525's or diesels, The Apache would be 800hp ish motors that run on 89 oct. and go 250 hours before need anything.

Well, 1)maybe passengers can chip in alittle for a day on the water when you run 40 to 50 feet? OR 2)if you bought a 50 Nortech, the dollar per foot to dock for the day aint sh!t. I like the first one better!
