Not Happy with Terry Sobo / Nor Tech

As some of you know I am a big Cigarette fan, (the boat) not Skip, Phil, or any other B.S. that surrounds it !! Anyway Mr. Sobo was kind enough to take my girlfriend on a tour of the 43 Nor Tech at the Key West poker run and now that I am shopping again, everytime she walks by the computer and sees a boat on the screen that I am looking at she says " better be a Nor Tech" !! So thanks to Terry and the Nor Tech family, I might be moving neighborhoods !!

All kidding asisde, Terry was a great host and great tt otake time out to show her the boat, I know its his job, but still nice to deal with pleasent people !!

:drink: :D LOL

offshoredrillin 01-09-2011 10:05 AM

HA!... wait for the :cheer:...But in all seriousness, I would own a 43 V in a second!

BobbyB 01-09-2011 10:09 AM

Well at least she wants you to get a boat. :drink:

LapseofReason 01-09-2011 10:16 AM

My buddy is in the same boat so to speak, his wife wants a new 390CC bad after a tour of it from Terry, he wants a 3600 supercat. Good thing he makes enough to buy both. I don't know what Terry's secret is with the girls, maybe his lack of height went someplace else.:party-smiley-004:

SHARKEY-IMAGES 01-09-2011 12:48 PM

Terry is a smart enough salesman that he knows who he has to make the sale to. "The Boss". :drink:

He knows the men have already done their homework and pretty much know the boats inside and out via the internet, and speaking to people at the Poker Runs and Boat Shows.

The decision maker in most cases will be the wives.... :evilb:

And yes, for some reason the women surround him.... :drink:

I think it is funny that Lapse posts about his short height being compensated for in other places then Sharkey puts a photo up of some chicks knelt down holding on to his"trophy" :D

What does the 43 run with STOCK 700's? The LOA is spec'd at 43 so what is the actual length from bow to transom?

SLOWRIDE-388 01-09-2011 02:44 PM

Nice boat, seen a few very nice ones at the New Years Fun Run to Marco

thirdchildhood 01-09-2011 02:53 PM

lol And I thought this was going to be another 300 page bash fest:coolcowboy:

TeamShogren.com 01-09-2011 03:56 PM

43v

The one we just delivered ran 88 with 4 people and 200 gallons of fuel. It's got to be the biggest 43 on the market.

Terry is such a great guy his height is all I can bust on him about and I don't even know if he is short, I am 6'5" so most are short to me.

There was a red and black (or maybe it was dark grey) 43 that blew by us around the 21 MM on the way back from the Shootout on Saturday last year. Beautiful boat.

Yea..poor Terry has a tough job.

LapseofReason 01-10-2011 08:36 AM

I remember when I traded my 42 Sonic for 50 Nortech, We unhooked the 42 and hooked the 50 to my truck and went to the water for sea trial. If you don't think 8 feet is that much go stand in the two, the 50 is huge. So anyway Terry is driving first and I am thinking is he going to be able to see when we start to get on plane? I don't think he even used the tabs less than 4 seconds and flat as a pool table we were running. SOLD.

Actually all those pictures are photoshopped cause you don't see the halo around his head after Pope Bendictine threw a Sainthood his way....

He also does great charity work in excess of all his thong watching duties.....

So Terry is it Saint-Sobo or Saint-Terry Sobo, I just need to know so I have a name for the next subdivision I want to build????

:drink:

Still waiting for you to come up with ONE NT owner that bought a new Cig! :angry-smiley-038:

Most performance boaters just go straight to number 1 and don't mess around with the sport boats...unless their girl makes'em. And since you have already counted,Tanner who would only buy the NT to get laid; Tracy is looking to move up to number 1. :evilb:

And with over 500 Top Guns being built I guess you could truly consider <1% "droves" or "many" LMAO...

So if I understand you correctly guys in Cigs don't get laid? :party-smiley-004:

If i spent all that money on a 700 boat and a 525 top gun went by me i think i would jump off!!
