Per APBA measurements a 29 Fountain has a running surface of 26' 10".
Good luck Stallion!! More importantly be safe and yes a set of 380's mounted level will only help you.
My 29 with a stock sealed 500EFI will do 92.7 so you should be able to have a lot of fun.

I've driven enough 27' Fountains (and other boats) to know what a handfull they can be. One of our members from my area was killed last year when his 29' Kryptonite went out of control during testing. That's one of the reasons those of us with lots of seat time are cautioning you here. It doesn't matter if you run 120 MPH - for 5 seconds before you loose control and crash."
Whooooo....Too Stroked & Baja555
I'm just an "old" country boy, but I have been to N.J. and I've never seen any boat, wether it's an 18' or 50' Bajahaha, Kryptonite, Progression, Fountain or whatever in N.J., Ok, Texas or Canada that has the whole footage in the water at any time. Much less when it's WOT in which case I wouldn't want my whole boat in the water and I doubt that you would either. Just my 2 cents.

Many boats are however much shorter than a classic flat transom (no molded in platform) hull measured the old way. The Fountain "beak" is one commonly complained about example - but it's at the bow. Molded in swim platforms - except for certain Four Winns models - add nothing to the running surface at the stern - where it matters most.
