100% correct if it's not FB it's no good!
You'll do fine with what you have, endurance is just that endurance!
I laugh when I read what people say about the Miami-Bimini as being a long race. In the old days the Sportsman races were almost that long, for a boat like your it takes a 100 or so miles to weed out the boys from the men! Good luck my friend!

My main goal is Cowes-MonteCarlo in 2013 and possibly Round Britain 2012. Did the RB 2008 (third overall) so a 100 miles race is not much to talk about.
The 8 legs were between 130 and 210 miles, 1400 miles overall. Plus the 1100miles that we made before the race started. Thats the distance from where I live to the start of RB 2008.
The plan was to drive the boat back home also by sea but I hired a truck...

The boat look great ,and nice engine package too.
Was wondering about the Arnesons ASD8L ,s ,are those different material than a ASD8 ?
What sort spline do they have 26 or 25 ?
Any idea about what diameter props to start with ?

You can order them with 25 or 26 spline. I have the 26 to fit Merc propellers.
Bought three sets of used propellers here on OSO.
Mercury Racing 29x16.75, 15 rake and 32x18, 15 rake, both 5-blade.
Also one set of Throttle Up 5-blade 34-16,5. I think they are to big but it was a good deal.
Will try the 29,s first and see what happens.
