So you can buy up to a 550 HP motor with a 3 year warranty, and you get a year with merc on a BBC with 525.

Of all these, the Ilmor 7.4/522 is the only LS-X engine.

Crusader still lists 8.1 (496) engines on its web site. Volvo Penta does not, but is the only company to offer a sterndrive LS package so far.

I've been running mine for a few years and am in the process of building another.

what he said. i have a bone stock 420hp all alum L92 engine with 60k on it, im hoping to find an 18ft donzi to stuff it in. there are companies that make a wiring harness to connect the engine to the ecu, summit also sells a kit with msd ign box to run the ign and a single plane manifold to stick a 4150 holley on for about 700 bucks. i have a complete car so i was planing to remove the entire wiring harness and eliminate all the crap i dont need... i found exhaust and risers for under 400 bucks.... just need to find the right project boat...rm
