And it just go easier. I've been waiting for Tial to release these housings. They will be producing a GT30 GT35 and GT42 water cooled housing. I also found out today that the GT42 housings that are used on the 1350 QCV4 are listed for just over $ 1,300.00, although I haven't confirmed that they can actually be purchased.
Twin GT37/35's on a 406 - 454CI LS would make gobs of reliable power AND TORQUE on pump gas. I think the best part about the housings that Tial has just introduced is with very simple adapter and stay bracket a person could mount them on the back of a set of CMI's with very little effort.

Ive wondered this as well! I am a huge LS guy...Hence my screen name!
LS motors in ALL different displacements, be it 4.8 5.3 6.0 6.2 etc etc.... can make MASSIVE power per inch. I understand to make a motor marine, there are inevitable differences and challenges... however... LS motors will not likely become obsolete for a VERY long time.
Its very surprising that there are not a TON of these on the water. If a company made conversion kits for typical SB or BB boats... wow, they would sell!

1. Most forced induction motors DO run some amount of boost in an offshore boat at cruise. If the bottom end is built right anything less than half of an atmosphere of positive pressure for an extended period of time will not hurt anything so long as proper parts are selected and engine cooling is sufficient. .

I was afraid to post anything until I saw how it ran.
Adding more power to it this winter.

From the numbers you posted, I don't think anybody can argue that it WORKS....and in my opinion, the best part is that it didn't take a pair of LSAs other $25-30k LS "marine" engines to do it.
Much respect.
