I have been in almost the same "boat" as you, with no luck on my search!

My biggest problem with finding the speed is the boat will soon need DRIVES! So the "deal" is not such a deal anymore.

My criteria when searching was bigger, faster, stronger drives, and newer. So 35+, 100mph+, 2002+, and stronger then my Imco SC's!

All I can find are $250,000 boats! So I gave up.

With your size range at 33, no age range, you should be able to find something, just not with reliable drives IMO.

Good luck

Your 100 percent correct and most likely will end up being a #4,5 or arneson boat

+1
Everybody is throwing IMCO, Bmax ect. drives on their boats, often they even slow them down. Why more have not seen the "light" so to speatk with the ASD#7M I can not understand. No increase in hp, but still a 5-10 mph gain with reliabillity that rivals a #6.

Higher speed, more reliable than most, ect. What is not to like?

When all is said and done, what is the price, one vs. the other?

I agree, I would love a Arneson Boat also! Maybe just install the bravo conversion on mine!

Yes that Fountain is a GREAT deal. To bad I am not a fountain fan, and it does not meet all my criteria. Plus now that I am spoiled with such a large cockpit its hard to give it up in the next boat.

The 33 is probably the best hull Baja ever made. It would be more than awsome with the ASD#7M's. Picking up the speed of the ASD's without upping the hp is priceless. More speed, same reliability when it comes to the motors and knowing your're running drives that can take hard core power and beatings. OK, I know, but I like those words
