The running plug (heavy) for this ran close to 97MPH with a STOCK!! 525. This one will be running SVL this season. I hope to see an OL in race trim and of course the Fountain on the course at some point.

??? Refer to post # 91, on page 10, it ran 87 mph. It is fast, but 97 mph..., the horsepower fairy must have visited the boat since post # 91, and must have added some magical horsepower. It is was only running 87 mph then. Are you now referring to a third 29' OL boat?

The 600 boat is at 100+ mph.

I think lauderdale boats is talking about the boat in that link.

Ambiguity on this thread is REDICULOUS!
so many have taken speed numbers out of context, just cause they have not read the entire thread.

No HP fairy, just further testing. The plug went 91mph with a 525hp efi engine, stock. The production tooling is of course nicer than the plug so when it gets tested, most of us can reasonably estimate the 525hp efi speed to be the same or better as the plug. There are plenty of these boats sold so most will see other numbers with other engine combos over the next year.

I think this 29 FT boat was a great move for Outerlimits. Way to boost production and attract a whole new audience with a smaller boat. Nice job guys. Any sold in our area Dan?
