Dont quit your job KID, and acting like Sunkin has proven to be a poor example of a person just as you descibed above... see once you lie, you have to keep lying to keep face...then you drink the koolaid thinking your unstopable..the best...putting everyone else down that can't hang, or has tried to hang.. A weasel is just that, there is no upper echelons of the Offshore world..those guys put their pants on the same way you and I do..its all in how you treat people day in and day out. It won't be the fastest boat, or the best looking boat, but it's what works for my friends and mostly I, and thats all that matters. Jeff

Yes, and we did until we got a fuel leak. Stopped, fixed it and went back on our way. We were on the wood for sometime, surely wasn't for the faint of heart.
and i guess you can say the engines were on conservative mood, since redline was 7800rpm and 1800hp,but you were only given 7000-7200rpm limit.and it was put there a couple of times. |
I was there on a 47 Fountain with 1200's....we were one of the first boats to leave after lunch...... we were running 110 in some fairly choppy water and both the OL and The Statement passed us like we were sitting still....I believe the Statement was running turbine engines....it was pretty cool that morning but had warmed up considerably by lunch

all this bickering and nobody has video of it???? In this day and age how hard is this???

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qK2acBVUdP8 Actually, as I recall there was a video of these two cats running that day, I think it was shot from the Statement (although I could be wrong). I dont know if the OL was running wide open, but the Statement was slowly walking away. |

ah,thought is was the oil pressure alarm went off, sucked the silos dry and had to slow down to let the oil drain from the top end.sound about right.7000rpm for 2mins was all it could take.know the fix was to add 2 scavange lines to the back of the head.

Again, I was in the boat for the entire run so I know what happen. Oil psi started to drop, backed off to 6500rpm then smelled fuel. Turned out somebody forgot to tightent the little 1/4" SHCS that secures the fuel rail to the manifold, and that is why we stopped, took 15 minutes to fix while everyone passed, and then ran by ourselves to the lunch stop. We ran and kept up with the statement for a damn good distance which is pretty good considering they've got nearly 2250+hp turbines. |

Sutphen30 what are you trying to prove? Jeez! Give it a rest dude. If I owned any of the previously mentioned OL's I would say they did 200 mph! Who gives a sh_t. Awesome boats ol keep up the good work

Haha, I was kinda thinking the same thing, only I'd settle for deck handing on a boat like yours.....but my salary needs are about 6 figures. Looks like GM's never giving anyone a raise anyways so time to move on to "mooch" as a title.....:evilb:

I have no dog in this fight but this is how I see it. Back in the day Fountain and OL were talking trash. When it came time to prove it one boat set a speed record while the other boat didn't even come off the trailer. This might bother some people.
Just sayin. |

[QUOTE=kreed;3623733]Good point and very true....BUT that is what we call HISTORY. Its fun to remember the old days and I seriously doubt that would ever happen again. Seriously though, unless Reggie got into the epoxy and carbon cooking game, I dont see how he could compete today(showroom boats, not with a one run wonder potato chip). |

Funny you say that! Indeed it is. The week prior I was actually ejected 3-6 times (lost count so coulda been more). And prior to this almost rolled my freightliner and boat combo on the highway. It's always an exciting time just trying to splash the boat for a relaxing day on the water when you live like sunkin folks....
Call your folks up and move back in! Be careful boating with j. He will leave you at muskamoot. I on the other hand leave no one behind.... At the moot you can't lose line of sight w/ the driver and/or boat! |
Thanks for the props Rick. He didn't mention he was on his own boat and went missing for 3hrs. Oh and I had to bring back a crying slut... :poopoo::lolhit:
|
She was only crying cause u guys tried gangbangin her! LOL
|
Tried??? Woot woot! :eekdrop:
|
She got it again after I stole t.j.'s truck and drove down to her place drunk as hell to get my clothes then! Poor girl.

Should'a, would'a, could'a, can anytime? Well, do it! |
-Just got home from Miami.
No hate here! Glad to see the Outerlimits guys doing well. Their new 29 looked incredible. The booth looked great, was greeted with a sincere, friendly simile by Mike and his staff. These guys are genuine people with a true passion for waht they do. So impressed, in fact this Cigarette owner bought an Outerlimits sweatshirt! -Looking forward to taking a test ride in the new 29, a good friend is interested as it would be perfect for our lake up here. Honestly, the Water Weenie, best offshore boat yet... Graphics, Fit and Finish, I mean look, it really looks real! Not to mention the appeal of driving around a giant floating hot dog... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xD2JIdGmeNg ref. post 102 + 107 page 11 Pat, where do you find this stuff ? -:cartman:- With all the dicken around on this thread it is quite appropriate and fitting. In fact some of the boat names you suggest in one of your earlier posts would work well for the Hot Dog boat. I am quite sure a lot more could be thought up. LOL ps Kurt how was Miami ? No hate here either. Going to post a Vid. of a Cig. if I can. CU on the Pond. Well gettin hungry time for a big dog bite ! :thankyouthankyou: |
