I think any of the boats mentioned would do a good job, just pick your flavor. I like Saber, Lavey, Powerplay, Pantera, Activator, Active Thunder, Superboat, Kryptonite, Sutphen, Joker, Tuff. All depends on the style you prefer and what kind of ride you want. There are going to be tradeoffs in any 28 when it comes to running big water, just the nature of the beast.

Don't get me wrong Krypto makes a great boat. I'm not trying to trash any other boat builder out there, I'm just saying what I know about this particular company.

We both know my profile rode better than your sunny Jordan. It was 10yrs older and not as fancy as your sunny but rode better due to mine being a full V instead of a 8" pad on the bottom.

Bold statement. Only time I rode on your boat was on 3" ripples on gull lake. Guess I can't confirm or deny your claim. I will say we made it to Toledo from Monroe mid to front of the pack in some super nasty water in the mighty sunny!

I thought I heard that the 28 active thunder came about from the 28 Apache mold...any truth to this?

If it did more than likely with the progression of materials/technology it was laid up much lighter than an Apache. Just an opinion.
