I missed buying its sister boat by 2 months. I've been at 75 in it, in 5 to 6s at a offshore race that was shut down cause of wind and sea's. just had a knee operation 2 months before that ride.I sat down and was fine. the hull is a 26 degree where most others are 24 and 23. big cabin too because the bow stays wider longer.Saber is a big name on the great lakes known for rough water, thats why I bought mine un rigged used. oh another 28 is the BANANA 24 or 28. they should be under 100,000 for a 28. there in mass. also JOKER 28 sit down, SUPERBOATy2k 30 sit down are the 3 you should get for under 100,000. lot of room in the baja 29 and 30 but there a production boat, the ones I have talked about are custom builders . better boats. oh a twin sm block boat would be easier on the drives. other wise you need a big drive with big power like me.I am still working on set up on mine after 4 props 2 hours 5 trips lol. prop 5 comes next week. maybe just the ticket. ps if you can work a deal with AT on a 28, thats a nice ride been in the 28 and 33. there also a favorite ride Art
Id be willing to bet I can get you in a brand new Krypto for 100K or less

I have not been in a joker yet, but I some how ended up with a prototype two years ago and what a great boat, the joker is the same boat. Ive had a 28 pantera it rides good but you need a # 6 drive and 850 hp to make it get out of its way. If I was looking for a 28 I would buy a new joker.

Saris Racing 525, or one of the "new" 496s. This being said, I am guesstimating here. But id be willing to bet it could be done, if not id be suprised if its much over. A blue motor could be pushing it though.

We picked up alot of performance and great handling in rough water when we added a T.S. bottom with notch transom to our Pantera 28' SR model. Our main focus is building a boat to take extreme punishment out in the ocean.

Thanks to all for the support.

LOL...confusing isn't it?

I THINK that "prototype" was the brand of the boat, and Joker is the same boat as a Prototype boat.

But I could be wrong.

Nor a Lavey who's construction and level of workmanship blows away just about anything mentioned here.
