My wife likes boating a whole lot more with the bigger boat, than when I had my "death rockets" as she called them.

I have to say, she was able to take my Hydrostream up to about 70 mph before she got scared. That was pretty hot.

I could have written this myself!

Mine loves it, but more in a floating suntan station kind of way. She can handle the trailer and boat when the need arises however.

I kept getting **** for wanting to go on speed runs. Last season I figured out a solution. We were anchored in a nice calm cove one day when I wanted to go for a speed run with the boys. I inflated the tube, attached the anchor to it, and we left her and her friend floating in the cove with a few beers. Her only fear was us breaking down and not being able to pick them up.

Hated at first but slowly got into it. Now she gets pissed if she doesn't get to go. Speed so far doesn't seem to matter (been to mid 80's) and only gets mad when something breaks. Doesn't like the dirty end of boating but helps clean up, engine bay/interior...etc

I am with you guys... met mine on the boat dock when she told me "your boat makes me wanna say daddy". Married her! Then she took a ride with a friend on his 42RP with 1100's and ever since she wanted a MTI... check the avatar... gotta give the 'ol lady what she wants, ya know!

She loves when I run the boat hard and is really good at helping with docking and launching... Now if I could get her to help me clean it...
