Usually when I get that lean pop, I immediately stab the throttle to the dash a hold it. This way whatever is in there cleans itself out.

Since this is a blower application, be sure to run 3/16" fuel line from tank to carbs!!

lean pop usually means $$$$$$$$$$$ Mine did that and all it ended being was rust on the pick ups in the msd distributors. Cleaned them up and everything was ok. Lean pop on dialing in a engine is not a good sign. Mine was locked out a 30 degrees as well. Good luck!
