Funniest boating term you've heard?
 

I was just reading the formula thread about a 311 to purchase...and someone in there said
"it would porpoise like a broke finned dolphin"

Anybody have some funny terms they've heard over the years?
I remember years ago Nort called everyone and everything a poodle...

My mother-in-law still calls my Formula a Cigar boat.

The term "Chime" or Chimin/Chime walkin always make me chuckle.......C'Mon people....it's the "Chine"

Ive heard lifting "strakes" referred to as "strikes".

Numerous times I see/hear people call it a "cubby" cabin......:lolhit:

Nope its a stabbing cabin. :whistle:
