Just pull the bag at the end of the day and hand it to one of the dumpster divers at the boat launch.

Yep – I have a compartment behind each of the bolsters (under the carpet) that can be lined with a kitchen garbage bag. The covers just so happen to have a can sized finger hole in the top.

Cans or bottles go back in the cooler. Recycled when I get home.
I'm a big boy now and I can drink beer out of a bottle without breaking it, or leaving it where it does not belong.
Oh, and in my locale, a lot of high-end beer is now available in cans. Sierrra-Nevada, Fat Tire, Magic Hat, etc.
Better question.....Why do smokers feel it is OK to throw butts in the water? You smoke, fine, cleanup after yourself.
