LMAO !!!

I love you big cat guys boats but I cringe when I think of the sum of operating cost, maintenance, and insurance.
I've heard insurance is BIG.
This helps me come back to the real world when I get dusted by one and begin to dream of ownership.
I usually put in a half tank and it's around 400.
I've always asked myself "If these 525sc's suck this much fuel, I wonder how much those big HP powerplants consume"

Summer, thanks for the laugh
and Lastcall thanks for the thread.

See ya,

My Daytona only holds 100 gallons but we have to pay about 6 bucks a gallon up here for 91 and if running hard, that lasts about 120 miles at best or a little over one hour of run time.

$ amount would be much higher if i weren't draggin this anchor wearing a skirt .....:lolhit::lolhit:...she severely limits the length and duration of WFO runs and is impossible to get on the water before 11:00 in the a.m. .

I put in 100 or so every two weeks depending on how hard I am running. I spend a lot of time anchored and relaxing, but sometimes I just want to have fun, then it costs more. I spend more in diesel a month for sure.

135 gals at 3.50 a gallon. I try to put 100-200 bucks in everytime we go out. I have not filled this boat up from empty, i try to keep it 1/2-3/4 full to avoid the sticker shock.
135gals X 3.50 a gallon=472.50!! its all worth it. I can get a tank of fuel to last at least 2 weekends.

4 days of boating 80 Gallons of 91 oct. = $300.00
figured out to just under 10 gph, not bad for twin 377" small blocks, that that was a lot of idleing in and out of the harbor also.
$450.00 for gas for my airplane to get to and from the lake
Beech Baron.
$100.00 for diesel for the truck, back and forth to the marina.

It seems like every trip is close to $1,000.00 by the time all the smoke clears, and it is worth every cent!!!

it depends on wich boat i take,my cat cruises at 70 at about 3500 rpm,so if i keep it at crusing speed,i get by on 75 gallons per day,in the fountain,500 bucks minimum every time out,i try not to think about the cost, but it is worth every cent.
