Unfortunately, most of us here won't have to make that momentus decision. I don't see Mr T offering rides up to a nobody like me. I figure if he's got the pennies, he can do whatever he wants!

If the boat is going back to Mystic to be repaired-yes.John Cosker certainly is more than capable to design and repair that boat making it stronger than the original before the accident.

wasn't all the damage to the rear around the bustle and the engine hatches? Most of the structural integrity of the boat is still intact so the answer is HECK YEAH! I'm sure they will do a fantastic job and bring her back better than ever!

Sure would appear so but do you think there more damage then meets the eye from impact?? again I don't know, I am just curious as to how people would approach this if in that situation

I think that boat is all carbon fiber , i have heard that makes it much harder to do repair work on. As hard as the boat landed a few times it would make me wonder about the stringer system and how well it took the beating.

I think Bill will do the right thing. If the boat can be repaired and be done in such a way that it is still as safe, or safer, then he will. If not, I can't wait to see My Way V.

Traded some texts with Cosker a couple days ago. He said the boat is 100% repairable.

Yes

The boat would look to be fixable. Just needs to be done the rite way.
