thug? never, this is just a conversation, it happens to point out how foolish you look with your blind drivel and insults to others. But, none the less, still just a conversation. I mean really cant you come up with a youtube video or a pile on quip for yourself? you're so good at doing it for others. jus sayin your last posts over the past few months have the same content as a geriatric mans depends. or is it that you hate it when someone does to you what you seem to take so much joy in doing here? call me crazy, but I think that is it...You go boy!

Instead of posting so much of your opinion, arguing and name calling if someone doesnt agree, and now going to sleep here on the boards, why dont you go outside and lift the tarp off your boat and get it running. I could understand a season but its going on what 10 years now? Then you could post videos of it running and shut everyone up.... I'm surprised that Keansburg or North Middletown let you keep that thing looking like that right off the jug on hwy 36, what an eyesore.... |

In all seriousness... can we get back to seeing more pictures of this new "powerboat" called the Punisher and get back on topic. :lolhit: |

OK children..now that you've had your share of fun and games, how about getting this thread back on track. If I remember correctly, this thread should be about Checkmate's new 43' Punisher which was based upon the Chief molds brought out of retirement. I look forward to hearing from the new owners regarding the testing and performance they've done to date. I'm sure it's just a matter of time and we'll have some more data...til then, Keep up the good work Checkmate.

After reading the last couple of pages I thought I was in the Beware section where it sounds like a bunch of old ladies in a senior center in Flordia. (not that I've ever been in one.)

Great job Checkmate,
From what I read, 91-93 was about where they thought they would end up with the 700's. Those who prefer to bash won't think that's fast enough and likely would still find something to bash if the boat ran 95-98. Really who ever buys this boat, is going to be very happy with it. The price for that speed in a new boat that size, with a full cabin is looking better all the time. I wonder if this boat is going to help tighten up the pricing for some of the other brands a bit. If you are brand loyal and you next purchase of a 41-43er got a little more affordable because this boat was built, wouldn't that be nice for you? |

ACTUALLY Apache DID make and run that hull. The attached pic is the 42 apache twin step. First boat pulled from that mold. It was the ONLY Apache made out of that mold. It had twin Diesels and is currently in South America I believe. ( not 100% on current location )
However... I think ( assuming )he was referring to how this hull against a like 41 seems to take far less HP to achieve the same speeds. Congrats Checkmate |
Very Impressive!!! Have we heard a dry weight on this vessel?
|
It was 10,300 lbs.

They are completely balsa cored for stiffness and to make them light. I have a new 21ft Checkmate running 96.5 on GPS with all cuddy cushions, snap-in carpet, etc.
