It's a REAL 43. That benchmark is BS based on a 42 anything with a beak and swim platform. Bussel, Potato chip, etc.

I was involved with the one and only Chief which is the same boat. BIG boat.

I take 90 and crush waves without the boat falling apart.

Good luck guys!

Nice paint, Mitch!

^^^ i would agree with that. My tiger is 9800 dry, and tops out at 75 (did 77 once) thats with 630 per side and xrs, straight bottom. Step hull is 7-10 more but the extra hp should put it at 90+..with nxt trans and all the power robbers, i think its right on the money as well.

85,90,93 Who cares the thing should be great in rough water bet it slices through cruiser wakes. Would love to see a 35 or 33 foot version.

I think the thing looks great! Not just the paint. The lines are killer and it really is going to be able to handle some big water. Proud of Checkmate for turning out a nice big boat in our economy. It's well under Cig, Nor-tech, etc and if the quality is good, I think it's a real winner

That benchmark maybe BS to you but if this boat doesnt tap the door on 100 they won't sell many. Cig 42x gets there, OL does, NT, Sunsation and Fountain do despite beaks/swim platforms. The cabin interior on the Checkmate needs some help for sure, looks like the backdrop for a 70's porn shoot! The Mitcher T paint is sharp though.
