I come up with 96 using this http://www.go-fast.com/boat_speed_predictions.htm I left the constant alone and used the Ilmor HP & top speed numbers to solve for the weight and then changed the HP to 2700 but that boat must weigh a lot more than 15000.

I would agree...mid to upper 90's. It is a stepped bottom also.

True up the hull and balance it right, maybe 100.

Thanks for the link. I thought there must be some kind of calculator out there. Yes it does weigh more than 15k.

probably a more realistic set up would be the 1100 turbos through shaft drives. formulas respond really well to Arnesons and you have the swim platform to cover them. the 1100's can be sold separate as the 1350's must go with the M8.

I'm sure the arnesons would handle the 1350's...I understand mercury M8 package but think it's a mistake. just my .02

I will donate my 2011 400ss for a test mule and run it in the shootout if someone will convince mercury to spring for the motors!

100 mph or not it would be stupid cool!
I think the boat weighs over 17,500 with a hardtop.
