That's what I was just sitting here thinking... I don't know how fast that 48EC was running but it looked like up in the 70's-80's with the triple 700's... I would bet one of those would run 100! and its a fountain so you know it'll be fast!
I was told that you couldn't fit anything but 700's under the hatch of an EC.. how much taller would a 1075 or 1100 be than a stock 700?

As a reference. I did a couple of built whipple 502s that made right at 900 HP in a 400SS with Bravo drives. It runs mid 70's on an inland lake in the heat. Probably would break 80 at sea level with some chop. Believe it or not it's never broken a drive (Bravo XR) in 4 years.

Zero percent chance. Good friend of ours has a new 2012 w/ 725 Ilmor's boat runs hign 60"s. His boat weigh's 18,000 lb's. This boat does not like cleaver props. M8's and 1350's my guess you'd pick up maybe 10 MPH.
