What is always interesting about these threads is how many people own their own business. No coincidence that hard work pays off.

I could not agree more. Every time I read these threads, it emphasizes the benefits of working hard and being your own boss. Not too many people out there can work for someone else, and afford some of the boats on here.

Head painter @ a shop that specializes in high end and exotic cars. Over the years I've done trailers, boats, motorhomes and a few planes. Sh!t, I'd paint garbage cans if it pays well LOL.

On the boat I do about 90% of the work myself and trade work with friends for anything I can't do. Fortunately I have a core group of friends with great knowledge in the marine industry.

I only date hot chicks with money.

100k yr = nice house, nice truck and a kick ass boat if your smart with $$$

I work on offshore boats 7 days a week up to 15 hours a day....have 3 boats with no time to work on them or use them.....good thing is I don't have a boat payment just a boat problem.
