That looks like 130 mph 40 Skater water to me.

Well..the five other people in my boat plus the 5 or 6 in Laszlo's boat could probably refute what it "looks like" to you and give you an accurate description....NOBODY would have been going 120 in that water. The GoPro really smoothed it out as far as perspective.

I merely offer this as a reality-based arguement about how difficult this proposed "race" might prove to the average, non-racing boater.

Watch out Mike, he's bumped the speed up on ya after watching the video again. :lolhit:

I can post a vid of a 40 Skater running 120-125 and the guy filming cant hold the camera still at all just trying to hold on. And I have four other guys as well plus a 39 MTI and a 36 Skater that backed out on the run.

Nice video of a V running in smoothish water passing a Cat not running though.:evilb:

Wow....your arguement is simply too compelling for me to attempt to refute. I merely offered a sample of what I perceived to be a real-life scenario, in addition to video evidence of said scenario, that I felt reflected an actual possibility of what could occur on the Onion Run that this thread is based upon. I base my reasoning behind the posting of this video in the fact that the people participating are NOT racers, and presumably do not want to run the risk of injury to themselves or their equipment.

Thanks for your opinion, though.
