I merely offer this as a reality-based arguement about how difficult this proposed "race" might prove to the average, non-racing boater.

Nice Video

That water looks fun!

Does a Go Pro really smooth it out ?

Nobody :party-smiley-004: going 120 what about WW

Thanks Kreed...I am a huge fan of them now myself!

Jim...here's another vid I took off Miami later in the day...the waves were easily 6-8 feet...I just wish the camera had captured it better. Just watch the bow move and you'll get the idea...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=orUQZ...ature=youtu.be

That was funny as hell ! The Skater ran up hard until his teeth hurt I am sure and then got passed by Pat. We where laughing our asses off. That was some serious water for sure, I know we fell into some serious holes out there. The Go Pro does not do it justice at all.

But I do love Onion rings and I did stay in a Holiday Inn express last night...... :lolhit:

I'd guess 3 to 4s. Guarantee if there's 6 to 8 on Lake Michigan none of y'all will go out. Plus the way I was brought up when you're in anything bigger then 4s life jackets are mandatory.

Again...you can "guess" all you want...I was in the boat. I saw the waves over my head on each side...and although I am not tall, I am over 4 feet tall...

Agree on the 6-8s, though...and (once again) the point of my posts is that despite all the big internet balls we constantly see waved on this site...the reality might be different.

And YES Jim...I'd love to do the run...although (don't hate me for this) I don't really like onion rings. Lol.

I definately remember your boat(s). I met you briefly probably 10 years ago when you first brought the Awesome 38 to Hammond...and then again two summers ago down in the Ozarks when you came to our condo to sell some parts for Mild Thunder's 38 Fountain.

Took some of the T-docks out on the Active Thunder in Key West last weekend...Jimmy and Ginny Vos and Tony and Laurie Jurkas.
