Very few people out there know's what REAL 6-8 ft's are. Many people go out there and it a little ruff and automatically concider it 6-8 when theyre real 3-4's....Go striaght out of haulover inlet in fall/ winter with crossing winds and seas and than you'll really know what 6-8's with occational big holes are. Ive been to the LOTO Shootout many time and know how busy it gets when everyones leaving. That's a small washing machine....Nothing like Lake MI and i have been in that pond when it's ROUGH. It's fun as hell for the first 15-20 mins after that it hurts but very few can take that beating.

BINGO...on two counts. One...in my second video, we were going INTO Haulover Inlet with crossing winds/seas...hence my contention that the waves were BIG...Two...yes...I've done the Big Pond in big water...ended up with my lower back beneath my life vest bleeding from being rubbed raw on the bolster. I've picked myself up from the floor of the boat after taking a hard hit...now THAT is disconcerting...

I can ensure you there is no way in hell anybody not in a bolster will not be bouncing off the floor(hell at one point in the video Pat nonchalantly is looking at his cell phone) in TRUE 6-8's. ........
Where we were running was south of the 7 mile bridge and that was my handheld I was looking at to wonder how much longer I had to ride in that crap.

Actually the 6-8s were between Government Cut and Haulover. I only saw one dumbazz in a boat out there and it was me. And it truly was 6-8s. I was only glad tide was going in and not out or Haulover would have been a poor choice to enter.

And on your topic, put me in the Apache. Saccenti on the throttles, of course!

This is what it looked like on the run to Key West Wed. We went 8 miles out and ran down the outside. 3 to 4 with holes. I was told if you can see over them it is less than 5s
