There's some funny commentary going on ahead of the race that I just read about! See below;

British Powerboat Club says: Markus Hendricks has very sadly withdrawn the Cinzano entry from this year's race.
The BPRC Chairman wishes all competitors a safe and successful race.

Speaking of Chief, is there any reason why OSO doesn't have a Chief Owners section anymore? They used to have one and it dissapeared. If I owned one I would like to have someone where to go and chat. There are a few boats in the field (First Mohican, Warparth) and a few more may be in the works from what I'm hearing.

I just got off the Phone with Bob and He said that they are starting the layup of a brand new Chief. I agree that it would be nice if there would be a Chief section so we could watch the build as it goes along.

Is it up to OSO or the community? I wonder why was it was taken down to begin with? Could that have been influenced by someone? There's been other manufacturers that haven't build boats for a number of years (wink/wink) but they still have a section up! Bob's built more boats and had his fingers in more resin than a few of the listed manufacturers combined! Come on OSO! :-)

Why has it taken so many years for this hull to actually see some use? Other then the one chief that's been running around for a while.

I understand that the great result from the first race, has produced some orders for new boats. Bob takes his time and builds them perfect. Can't wait to see the latest coming out of that mold.

Old guys rule.....well, we still think we do LOL.

It would be nice to have a "Chief" section so we could keep track of how "Warpath" and the crew is doing over there as well as the progress of the new build.
