Old Navys convincer ran it fastest speed (71mph) with a cutting edge 28 pitch labbed that I own ( with a 525sc cranked up withIron eagle heads and a super-chiller) You might not be banging around in the 80's real easy at 5 psi but you should definately be in the high 70's, if you are taking it out again this year I can borrow you a couple fast props to try, you might want to check your afr's as installed also, if too rich you will slow down. Was motor ever re-tuned in the boat after being dynoed?Mine always goes about a whole point richer when installed vs the dyno, Smitty

That hull likes lots of cup like the Convincors. Stock B1's just dont seem to carry the bow enough.I have several friends running labbed with extra cup 28's and 30's from BBlades on their 259 and 300 Convincors with great results.

I know Scott!!! Insurance people got up with my game plan
I just didn't want to have a 100mph cat that I purchased based on a couple if insurance quotes that I got. And then 2-3 weeks later they go, oh wait....... we can't insure this
I had one comapny call me back to let me know of there mistake, and they would NOT in fact be able to insure the cat. 1st time in my life I am wishing to be a little older. At 35 the rates drop below the $4500-$5K a year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did not ask if it was tuned in the boat after install or not? I did notice two things though. 1. the transom was very clean did not appear to be running rich at all (not sure if this is a good indicator on efi setup's) 2. I did notice it had bungs for 02 sensors in the tails so maybe some one did.
I imagine over the next couple of years I will be leaning on you for information, with your wealth of knowledge with these procharged efi motors. I know yours is a 540, but I am sure alot of the same principles apply.
