At least you got some answers. A little bit of communication could have went a looong way in preventing this in the first place, but what's done is done. Glad to hear you are on the right track. Not all of us are bad

Call Bob Madera. I went with a comp roller in my small block and am kicking myself for not using him. The price difference is minimal but the customer service is phenomenal. He just ground roller cams for my 454/420 motors and I was shocked how helpful he was with all aspects of the build, not just the cams.

Ive called Bob Madera and he doesn't deal with flat tappet cams, Im using a hydraulic flat tappet. I would LOVE to go roller but I can spend the $$$.... on a strict budget.

Wow that's tough, but he should have communicated better. Good to hear you are back on track. Keep us updated.
I've recently had to find a new guy, I took my junk to Eddie Young, and like everyone says, he's on it...even for the smallest boat/engine in the shop!
