I would suggest you do all the prep work and find someone to do the final paint work. and spraying. It will be less expensive than having to do it twice if it gets messed up. Plus he have a good spray gun.

Thanks for the replies. I think I will just have to go through the trial and error process on some wood or something like that.

Like said, you tube is a great tool if used proper. Stay up some late nights and watch some of the folks do what they do. After you watch a few you will see who is BS and who knows what they are doing. You tube is the reason I bought my first stick welder a few months back. Always thought I cant do that and didn't want to go to school for the few times a year I need to tac something. Watched some vid's and got some tips, thought I could do that and now I am. I'm not ready to weld up steel trusses for the next high rise office building but I can fix an ALT bracket or weld up old screw holes in the trailer. You also may find that you don't want to do it. Some things are a learned experience. That's why some trades have long apprenticeships. I could teach you how to install carpet in about 10 minutes. Going in someone's hose and doing it is whole other story.

Last year I used it to spray the inside of my cottage it takes practice, but it comes easy after awhile. One thing be prepared to use a lot more paint or stain then you think
