Sorry. A 35 with big diameter and -2 Drives is very difficult to get on plane. It is embarrassing when you get to the no wake buoys and make a bunch of noise and don't go anywhere. You look like you don't know what you are doing in your 6 figure boat.

my 38 with 525's was ok to get on plane when smooth but it was rough water then it was a pain.
after putting on the imco scx drives it was way easier.
also if i use any tab it is way harder to get on plane, drives always tucked in.
also the type of drive showers can effect it.

I have noticed that in rought water it really is a pain to get on plane. Would five blade props make any difference?? When we left the races the other day at LOTO the water was horrible. Once the boat is on top, it is great. But is a slug getting there.

I`m going to try turning IN and see if it makes a difference, I have 5 blades adding 2" spacers helped a bit.

Gotcha! My boat doesn't love getting on plane either. I drop the tabs half to 3/4 and bring it up gradually and comes out fine. It will come on plane with out the tabs it just takes more real estate to do it.
