Maryland is awesome for boating in the summer and Loto is awesome too. But for the winter i cant wait to head to florida for the winter.

How about the best of both worlds :) The Cape Coral /Ft Myers area in the winter/Spring and Lake Cumberland/Indy in the summer really has us always looking forward to the next season.

Michigan and it's 4 seasons are what i prefer, also lived in Ft.Lauderdale and Yuma Arizona, both were too freakin hot !!!

New york , June - October , then in Nov- April somewhere in the far south would be ideal ????

Michigan! Most beautiful clear freshwater in the world! Tons of options for boating. Look on a map, no where else even comes close to the GREAT LAKES! Simply amazing!

Given the fact I am self-employed I have a 5 year plan.
In a NORMAL real estate market I have about zero business from June 1st-Sept 1st as people assess hurricane season. That scenario would(will) allow me to head to LOTO for Memorial Day and return to S Fla. right after Labor Day. I watch the market there weekly and figure a nice townhouse with a dock will work out real well. |

I still LOVE my home state Missouri and of course LOTO, I was wondering if most people like the colder weather with winter or if you liked it warmer with no winter.
